Autonomous heating: pros and cons
15.02.2021
Most recently, all houses were connected to a centralized heating system. Today is the choice of owners. Everyone may prefer this or that system: centralized, autonomous or individual.
⠀
Today, central heating enjoys the lowest demand when choosing an apartment, as the minuses are much more than the advantages
⠀
Minuses
🔺 The system works on strict seasonal schedule.
🔺 The inability to independently adjust the temperature of the heating devices.
🔺 The emergence of heat loss during transportation and heating in an apartment building.
🔺 Frequent accidents and interruptions with heat supply due to equipment wear.
⠀
In autonomous heating, a boiler room with a power can be provided with heat and hot water one or more residential buildings.
⠀
Pluses of own boiler room:
pros
🔺 Heat is stably fed.
🔺 Minimum heat loss during heat transportation
🔺 Lack of operational costs.
🔺 Payment is made only for their living space.
🔺 Low cost of repair equipment per apartment.
🔺 Outdoor premises are heated.
🔺 Safety.
⠀
Minuses
🔺 The inability to completely turn off the heating in the apartment.
🔺 Higher housing cost in comparison with centralized system.
🔺 There may be nuances in the formation of the tariff (the cost of heating can be overestimated).
⚠️ Repair and maintenance of the autonomous boiler house pay tenants
⠀
In case of individual heating, the equipment is installed directly in the apartment itself.
pros
🔺 Ability to regulate the temperature and, if necessary, is a complete shutdown.
🔺 The apartment always has hot water.
🔺 Guarantee of steadily supplied heat.
🔺 Ability to regulate resource consumption.
⠀
Minuses
🔺 Higher cost of equipment.
🔺 High costs for the purchase and repair of gas equipment.
🔺 Constant control of the operation of the gas boiler.
🔺 Independent solution to the issue of repair and prevention.
🔺 With the wrong operation of gas equipment, some of the neighbors increase the risks of accidents.
